CareCredit Transactions

Note: DO NOT RUN VISA/MASTERCARD THROUGH CARECREDIT

Making a Care Credit Transaction:

1. Obtain CareCredit card or CareCredit ID number from the Print-out, after being approved onsite.
2. Open up a new internet window and proceed to www.carecredit.com.
3. Under "health Care Providers" hit the provider login button and log in using the ID and Passwod found in the book.
4. Go to "Transact" and hit the "credit card" transaction tab.
5. Select transation type "purchase". Enter in account number, order total, card present "yes", and select "Phonak/Unitron".
6. After that goes through, print out the receipt and have the customer sign the merchant copy and give the customer their copy.  The customer can now proceed on their marry way.



Putting the Care Credit Transaction into Quick Books:

1. Make a new customer profile if they are not in our system.
2. Enter in the Item that was purchased
3. Make sure the amount is the same as the CareCredit Transaction. If not then click on the price and change it. (Note: hearing aids are tax free)
4. Then hit the "Credit" tab and hit the "Dinners Club" button.
5. The total at the bottom should bee deducted and a 0.00 balance showing; hit "Save Only" and you're done.
